Well, when we exist in a society that thinks it relevant to comment/speculate on how much makeup an 11-year-old who was gang-raped by a group of grown men was wearing, is it any surprise at all that the burden should always fall on the shoulders of the victimized party? Basically, if you have the gall to walk around with functional lady-parts, you have to be prepared to face the consequences, whatever they might be. (Though all of the general misandry is not terribly helpful either. Saying that men should not be allowed to legislate if said legislation pertains to women is not really the relevant problem at hand, here — there are plenty of women who are — mind-bogglingly, as far as I’m concerned — anti-choice, also. *cough cough, Sarah Palin, cough cough*. It is not simply a clean-cut gender issue, here, but a personal autonomy issue — we should not confuse or conflate the two, because that helps nobody, in the end.)

Men should not a single right to make laws regarding an issue that they themselves would never ever have or happen to them. Men cannot be pregnant; Men have no business doing anything other than sharing their dumbass opinions but never ever have a right to make laws about women. Why do we women allow men to have that power?
