A couple of guys were giving out rims of paper at a street corner this morning when I was inching my way to the office. I was mildly puzzled: Really? What made some paper company think it’s a good promotional ploy to give away a whole pack of printing paper? And why would I want to be carrying around something this heavy?
Well… I am very happy to stand corrected.

Stop the truck! So cool : )
I am going to see if I can find them on twitter. I am tweeting this brilliance right this second : )

Thanks for the RT! Quill.com struck a deal with NBC and started selling the Dunder Mifflin paper after Thanksgiving! Marketing at work indeed. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/45464572/ns/today-entertainment/#.Turc-9SrQ1I
Brilliant! Where is the “LOVE” button when I need it?

Thank you! I will read it and yes, I know what the PW hints… There is a reason (actually many) why I seldom mention my mother…

I tried to say it and bit my tongue… FAIL.
Glad I saw this today. Funny… and sad. Increasingly becoming part of our culture… constantly lowering the bar.

Some of these shows are pretty smart. Of course they tend to get cancelled early despite a “cult” following. In TV lingo, “Cult” must mean “Intelligent” “educated”… I am thinking of Arrested Development, Community, Homicide, and my favorite show EVER (still sad about it) Sports Night.
Brilliant.

The paper IS “Brilliant White”.
Might be the cleverest marketing move I ever heard of. Who couldn’t love these guys?

Indeed. But the show reflects what’s going on in the real world: Paper industry is going through a big shock. For example, at work, we use google documents extensively, and I cannot remember the last time I printed out anything for meetings etc. We read and collaborate directly online now.
