At 11:50pm, both boys were still awake. Hey, no judging! Summer vacation…
Mr Monk, my 8 year old: *sigh* In 10 minutes, I cannot be mean to dad any more.
Me: Oh, you are right. It will be Father’s Day.
Him: (Shrugs) Well, enjoy it while it lasts!
Me: (Thinking to myself) That’s what she said!
Is it terrible to admit I don’t mind having to “help” (by doing all the work) the kids celebrate father’s day with their Dad anymore?
Mr. Monk could be my own kid. Seriously. I thought the exact same thing as Sunday rolled around…with a sigh I realized I had to Make An Effort. And Be Nice.
Why is life so hard?
Another year til it has to happen again, thank God.
… and to all a good night!

I combined the sentiment of your cards by dressing up like the french maid, putting my hair in cinnamon bun rolls and taking a scandalous picture of me and the vacuum.
Then I reverted to old habits and bought a Polo shirt & coffee mug instead.
I wonder how the wedding dress vagina would look on the front of the french maid outfit??!!
That is SO what she said!
These were very cool. I liked them, even if the last one was patently false. 😉
Woo! Leia and Luke make me nearly spit water out of my nose!
These cards are hysterical! Where do you find this stuff?!

SO TRUE>
I like your finds when it comes to cards! I have to chuckle. In our family, we were always looking for the wise-ass cards. Never quite enough of those…
Hope it was a great day for all. (And the kids can be their usual selves again tomorrow. I know, right???)
That is a beautiful series of cards. (And some entertaining dialog, as well.)
