priceless! i think he’s way smarter than we know. he realizes that sometime later he will have more to write about and when that time comes he will write a highly purposeful, engaging and inspirational letter. to himself. pattypunker recently posted…lost in translation
I love it! Like a little message in a bottle, asking for more connection, more adventure, more something. Don’t we all wish we could be so open? BigLittleWolf recently posted…Emotional Stagnation: The Cost of Doing vs Not Doing
This gives me an idea. I’ve got Google ads on my blog now for two years. In all that time, I’ve made $29.00. They don’t send you any money until you’ve reached $100 in earnings, as measured by clicks on ads, but also by page “impressions,” which means people show up. I’ve got a bunch of old elderbloggers who show up regularly, but I’d really like to get some younger readers…like, um, in my daughter’s age group. So, upstairs in a big white wicker blanket chest, I have all my daughter’s notes to and from friends that she saved from high school. She’s almost 35.
That is so cute! This actually reminds me that I signed up to have my son participate in a pen pal group. He was supposed to send the first letter and I haven’t had him send anything yet at all. Shame on me! I will do it today. So glad this reminded me!
This reminds me of the other day while I was going through some art work my son did in elementary school.
All you can say is “thank god he’s thinking”. It doesn’t have to make any sense to us, as long as it makes sense to them.

Yup. They are definitely thinking. Sometimes it scares me how much he is thinking…
Aw, that’s very sweet.

I think it’s an awesome letter. It says everything it needs to say.

If I sent him a letter, would that be a neat thing, or a creepy one? I’m sure I still have your address around here somewhere.
