After I dropped off my 7 year-old at his Taekwondo class, I had less than an hour to drive, grocery shop, drive, unload groceries, stuff 99% of the groceries into the freezer portion of our refrigerator, and then drive back to pick him up. As I pulled up to the stop sign inside our neighborhood, I caught my breath when out of the window I saw the rainbow.
Seeing a rainbow always makes me want to cry and at the same time, jump up and down.
I thought about getting out of the car to take a picture of it, but I didn’t want to be THAT MOM again. I drove faster than I should have. I wanted Mr. Monk to be able to see the rainbow.
He did.
It felt wonderful to bring him the rainbow.
rainbows rock! i feel all glittery and loveeeey. joy is me.

You can be a rainbow lover AND a badass too!!
I know it’s just supposed to be some confluence of the water vapor and the sun’s rays but, to me, it always feels like magic.

Like love.
That didn’t make any sense. Eh, like magic.
I love rainbows. The other night both my husband and I dreamt of double rainbows. That’s got to be a good sign right?

That’s like 4 rainbows?! It’s like gay pride parade in your bedroom that night!!! Awesome!
So beautiful. We saw a rainbow in Ireland, I thought I was in a movie or something.
You know the stupid question I’m going to ask you now that you mentioned rainbow and Ireland together right?!
That rainbow would stop you in your tracks for sure. Glad you were able to get a picture of it.
Thanks. Me too! ๐
I love rainbows. I have almost crashed the car looking at them.
I am wondering now: has anybody tried to sue the rainbow when that happened?!
The rainbow does funny things to me too. All kinds of emotions – but it also reminds me of the Punky Brewster theme song, “I ran to the end where the rainbows are, there was no any pot of gold..” Or something like that.
Way to go to dash my dreams. Spoiler alert!! LOL!
Beautiful! My kids always want to search for the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow, ha. And after last St. Patrick’s Day, my daughter was hunting for leprechauns everywhere . . . . Weird stuff that goes with rainbows, huh?
Don’t forget unicorns. And My Ponies. ๐
