Love this collection of photos and your captions, priceless! The “Y” shots made me giggle and that staircase was stunning. Hey, and you even got yourself in the shots a couple of times. Awesome stuff. Cynthia recently posted…scavenger hunt sunday
I love the MCA, but you took it up a notch with your pics (esp of the stairs – keen eye indeed) and my favorite part: the accompanying blurb with each picture. Hilarious. As usual. Justine recently posted…Once upon a daddy
I adore museums and you’ve just made me remember how long it’s been since I spent the afternoon shuffling around, gazing at old favoites and looking sideways at new pieces. Fantastic pictures and it’s great to see your smiling face!
Oh and PS: if you ever change that adorable Gravatar/Thumbnail of yours with the pigtails and glasses I’m afraid we’re going to be divorced! Love it! SisterMerryHellish recently posted…Keep Your Bra On! – How NOT to Have a Massage Draping Demo
OMJ, I loved 12yo’s favorite! The Chicago Mud Circle is wonderful. You do have a great eye. That staircase is a work of architechtural art. LURV the masterpiece at the end. 😉 Wicked Shawn recently posted……and Then Pirates Boarded the Ship!
Thanks! I gave up on understanding art or trying to pretend that I do. I also decided that it is ok to say a certain piece of art work is stupid if you don’t like it. But don’t tell my kids that! LOL
my favorite works are the ones not appropriate for children. that sign says, “welcome” to me. also i spy your face and that makes me happy! pattypunker recently posted…happiness in a box
My favourite ones are of the staircase as well…my mom was a professional photographer, and some of your photos remind me of her work…thanks for making me think of her!
Thank you for the compliment! And it’s really cool that your mom was a professional photographer! Would you be writing/blogging about her works some time?!
That’s a neat idea, Lin…I’ll think about it for the anniversary of her death, which is coming up in September. It would mean unpacking some stuff that we’ve had in storage, but it needed to be done anyway…thanks!
Someday I’m going to be near somewhere that has a real museum that has real art in it doesn’t have the words “early americana” in front of it. linlah recently posted…strippers in the forest
God, I miss living in a Real City with Real Art Museums. That’s way at the top of my Why I Hate Living Here list. (And people wonder why I overdose on art museums when I go to Europe. Or any other American city other than this one. *sigh*) Miss B recently posted…The Only Direction Being Forward

I was going to say Come to Chicago! then I remembered you are in NYC. My favorite? MOMA. I could visit that place every day. Ok, I am only saying it probably because I cannot!
