My MIL was here to help me with the tree and decorations. Otherwise no, I am a Scrooge when it comes to decorating the house knowing that I’ll have to take them all down and put them all away very soon…

Those balls hanging off of your tree bring back fond memories. We’re Jewish so we never had a tree but I had a good friend down the street who did. When we were about 9 we discovered that if you “accidentally” dropped them they would explode.

Can’t tell you how many had accidents in between the end of school and when his mom came home from work- but it was many.

Did you both put on a show with puppy eyes to show your innocence convincingly? πŸ˜‰

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and that you are ready for the fast-approaching Hanukkah. (And is that your preferred spelling?)

You know… The last picture was from the “photo session” when I yelled at the kids to look happy for the holiday cards. The snow flakes covered up his brother who was making weird faces the whole time. I was pissed!
